You can't go wrong with Hoosiers and Remember the Titans, but I'm lucky enough to be a part of what the Sacramento Bee once called a "small school powerhouse". My favorite sports stories are the ones that come out of my hometown - from a tiny school of 500 defeating a school of 2,500 to win the football state championship, to a girls' basketball team defying the odds and winning a varsity section title with a team of sophomores and juniors. I'm grateful to not only coach, but also capture the moments from behind the lens.
